# Tech curious? Know Your City wants to satiate that curiosity with Keep Portland Wired

You hear me blather on and on about the Portland tech scene. With my rose colored glasses. But do you ever wonder what it’s really like? Well, get ready to be happy. [Know Your City](http://knowyourcity.org/ "Know Your City") is taking you on a tour of the seedy underbelly or the Portland tech scene. With [Keep Portland Wired](http://knowyourcity.org/2013/05/17/keep-portland-wired-a-tour-of-portlands-tech-community/ "KEEP PORTLAND WIRED! A TOUR OF PORTLAND’S TECH COMMUNITY").

> Board the bus for a ride through Portland’s technology industry, including some of the major institutions our city is known for, as well as some of our emerging start ups. Get a behind-the-scenes view of leading tech innovators, and meet some of the leaders who are shaping Portland’s tech future…you’d be crazy to miss it!

During the tour, you’ll get to hang out at [Ziba](http://ziba.com "Ziba"), [PIE](http://piepdx.com "PIE"), [Second Story](http://secondstory.com "Second Story"), the [Nike+ Accelerator powered by TechStars](http://nikeaccelerator.com/ "Nike+ Accelerator powered by TechStars"), and [Free Geek](http://www.freegeek.org/ "Free Geek"). And they’ll feed you. And you can see startup types in their natural habitat. And pelt them with questions.

What could be better?

The tour takes place on May 17 during the day. And it only costs $25. And they feed you and stuff. That’s cheaper than a movie. And probably far more entertaining.

For more information on the tour and timing, visit [Know Your City “Keep Portland Wired.”](http://knowyourcity.org/2013/05/17/keep-portland-wired-a-tour-of-portlands-tech-community/ "KEEP PORTLAND WIRED!
