# One pitch, two pitch: Pitch at Tech Cocktail Portland for the chance to pitch at the Celebrate conference in Las Vegas

Portland continues to garner attention from startup-associated ventures outside of town. [GeekWire will be in town to host a happy hour](http://www.geekwire.com/2013/hey-portland-geekwire-rolling-town-thursday-buying/ "Hey, Portland: GeekWire is rolling into town Thursday and we’re buying the first round"), Thursday. [Portland’s version of Startup Digest](https://www.startupdigest.com/digests/portland "Portland Startup Digest") just rebooted. And now, [Tech Cocktail has decide to host one of their get togethers here in town](https://techcocktailportland2013.eventbrite.com/ "Tech Cocktail's Portland Social").

Not familiar with [Tech Cocktail](http://tech.co "Tech Cocktail")? Well they’ve been doing this sort of thing for years. And now Portland is on their list.
