# Another moment in the sun for Portland's Cloudability

Portland-based [Cloudability](http://cloudability.com "Cloudability") has recently received local recognition for their company and their cofounder and CEO [Mat Ellis](http://twitter.com/matellis "Mat Ellis"). Now, they’re getting a little national attention. The [Wharton School just named them one of the 15 best young companies for which to work](http://www.bizjournals.com/portland/blog/2013/10/portland-startup-among-nations-best.html?).

> Cloudability was among 15 companies included on the new list compiled by workplace design firm turnstone and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

> Cloudability was the only Portland company on the list.

> Hundreds of companies were evaluated. The top 15, [which you can view here](http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20131001006592/en "Top 15 best young companies to work for"), were selected based on business goals/societal impact, leadership, positive culture and workspace design, and success potential.

As luck would have it, Cloudability just completed an interview with [This Week In Startups](http://thisweekinstartups.com/ "This Week In Startups"), as well.

*\[Full disclosure: Cloudability is a PIE alum. I am the cofounder and general manager of PIE.\]*
