# This or that? Pikly will help you pick

So many of the decisions we make tend to be based on visual clues. What to wear, what to eat, where to go. And if you’re indecisive like me, getting a little help from friends can be a great way to skirt the responsibility of actually making a decision. That’s why I’m pretty psyched about [Pikly](http://www.getpikly.com/ "Pikly").

> Share life’s funny dilemmas or difficult decisions privately and directly with your friends and get their honest feedback. Upload two images to Pikly and let your friends vote and comment.

Pikly joins number of apps are starting to explore how visual elements can be used where words don’t quite work. Most notably [Jelly](http://jelly.co/ "Jelly"). But the ability to poll friends and rapidly collect feedback is an interesting twist.

The app—which began its life as Tally—has already seen some [traction on the Oregon State campus](http://oregonstate.edu/advantage/clients/pikly "OSU Advantage"), where it was born.
