# Bringing the developer community together: PDX Dev Week plans weeklong series of events, July 28

Portland has a great community of developers. And maybe, that’s something that we should do a little more to celebrate. That’s the idea behind [PDX Dev Week](http://pdx.devweek.org/ "PDX Dev Week"), a week of amazing events for developer types, beginning July 28.
