# Portland startup Supportland gets a surprise cameo in Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee"

As you may have heard, Jerry Seinfeld was around Portland a while back. And now we know why. He was busy chatting with Fred Armisen of Portlandia for his show [Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee](http://comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com/ "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee"). And there are a few surprises.

Apparently, Seinfeld loves Portland. He hates fixies. He gets to pump his own gas. And Jerry gets a bit annoyed with how slow service is in town.

They grabbed some coffee at [Coava](http://coavacoffee.com/ "Coava") and then headed over to [Paxton Gate](https://paxtongate.com/ "Paxton Gate"). And that’s when another surprise came up. Around 17:30, Portland startup Supportland gets a mention.

Not many Portland startups can say they got mentioned by Seinfeld.
