You have to crawl before you can watch: PDX TechCrawl 2015 and TechFestNW 2015 are rapidly approaching

Yep. It’s that time of year again. Time for what has become almost a tradition. That’s right. It’s time for TechFestNW and its accompanying TechCrawl. And there’s no better chance to see what’s happening in the Portland tech and startup scene. You’re going right?

This year’s PDX TechCrawl kicks off the festivities on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Starting at Block 300, the choose your own adventure crawl wends its way through town throughout the evening. When the crawling is done, folks will be finishing up over at the TechCrawl After Party around 8:30 at On Deck, sponsored by our good friends at GeekWire.

And then, it’s two days of interesting and awesome tech speakers at TechFestNW. Where participants will consider a ton of technology influenced things. Like what? Well, like diversity; reality, both virtual and augmented; gaming; urban planning; robots; healthcare; drones; mobile development; democracy; storytelling… and, of course, the future.

This year, in addition to bringing back the Talent Fair and the VC Speed Dating, TFNW is introducing a game hall filled with video games developed by Oregon game developers.

So what are you waiting for? The main event will be held August 20 and 21, 2015, at Revolution Hall in the refurbished Washington High School.

The PDX TechCrawl is free. TFNW tickets start at $10 for access to the Talent Fair only, one-day passes are $65, and the full conference is $99.

For more information or to grab your ticket before it sells out, visit TechFestNW 2015.
