# Considering the new Portland Inclusive Startup Fund Manager role? Get more details on Thursday

The Portland Development Commission (PDC) has opened a request for information as part of its search for someone to manage the [new Inclusive Startup Fund](http://siliconflorist.com/2015/08/19/crop-rotation-previous-seed-funds-move-stages-seed-funds-fill-void/ "Crop rotation: As previous seed funds move to later stages, more seed funds fill the void"), a $3 million fund focused on founders from traditionally underserved populations. The RFI remains open until September 18, 2015. But you can get more information on what they’re seeking, this Thursday.

> If you are interested in submitting a proposal to serve as the Fund Manager for the Inclusive Startup Fund, please attend a pre-submittal informational session this Thursday at 5 pm at PDC offices (222 NW Fifth Avenue) in the Commission Room.

> This meeting is meant for individuals who have not yet formed a team to respond to the Request for Information to identify a fund management team for the Fund.

> At this meeting you will have the opportunity to meet other potential team proposers and get your questions answered about the RFI.

For more information on the fund, visit the [Portland Inclusive Startup Fund](http://www.pdc.us/inclusive-startup-fund.aspx "Portland Inclusive Startup Fund").
