# A Portland startup just won the People's Choice Award at the 1776 Challenge Cup Global finals

Nothing like ending the week on a good note. Portland startup [NoAppFee](https://www.noappfee.com/ "NoAppFee"), an alum of the [Startup PDX Challenge](http://www.pdc.us/startuppdxchallenge.aspx "Startup PDX Challenge") incubator, and winner of the [1776 Challenge Cup Local: Portland](http://siliconflorist.com/2015/12/08/life-liberty-pursuit-startups-founders-pitch-win-1776-challenge-cup-local-portland-invited/ "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of startups: Founders pitch to win 1776 Challenge Cup Local: Portland… and you’re invited") and [1776 Challenge Cup Regional: San Francisco](http://siliconflorist.com/2016/02/05/portlands-noappfeecom-wins-1776-challenge-cup-regional-san-francisco/ "Portland’s NoAppFee.com wins the 1776 Challenge Cup Regional in San Francisco") competitions has just walked off stage as the winner of the People’s Choice for the 1776 Challenge Cup Global event.

The prize comes with a $10,000 prize in addition to the $10,000 NoAppFee garnered as a semifinalist.
