Looking for an excuse to head to Bend? Bend Venture Conference applications are open

If you’re a startup type, you owe yourself a trip to Bend. Ton of activity. Great entrepreneurs. And a growing investment community. All within the confines of a smaller and much more tightly knit community. And honestly, there’s no better time to experience all Bend has to offer the startup world than Bend Venture Conference.

The Bend Venture Conference (BVC), hosted by Economic Development for Central Oregon, is the largest angel conference in the Pacific Northwest. This year, the conference is divided into three competition categories that consist of Social Impact, Early Stage and Growth Stage companies vying for investment and cash prizes. In 2015, more than 465 attendees, 50 prominent investors and 65 companies joined us for a celebration of entrepreneurship and close to $1 million in investment, awards and prizes were deployed to multiple winners.

But you’re a startup. And you want to make sure the trip is worth your time. I get it. So why not apply to participate in BVC and kill two birds with one proverbial stone?
