Videos in the stream, that is what we are: Warner Music Group first major label to partner with Portland's Vadio

Portland’s Amazon outpost, Elemental Technologies, isn’t the only company making waves in the world of streaming video. Vadio, a company that has been quietly helping folks access and stream video content, is making some interesting moves of its own. Like the announcement today that they’ve signed their first major label, Warner Music Group.

Vadio, a leading video streaming platform for media companies and brands, and Warner Music Group (WMG), today announced an agreement giving Vadio and its distribution partners access to thousands of music videos from across WMG’s extensive roster of artists. Vadio’s network of partners includes top web destinations and apps that host more than 80 streaming music video channels. WMG is the first major music company to partner with the streaming video platform.

“Vadio provides a smart service that gives partners quick and easy access to our artists’ content, within a ready-to-go video platform,” said Ron Wilcox, Executive Counsel, Business Affairs, Strategic and Digital Initiatives, WMG. “Vadio’s extensive distribution network of video channels expands the potential for Warner Music artists to connect with new fans, while creating new revenue streams on our artists’ behalf.”
