Nothing like breaking in a new space. And the recently announced Instrument Cookie Shop is starting things off with a bang. By bringing Kent Bye of Voices of VR and Paul Reynolds formerly of Magic Leap to help launch the Cookie Shop, a popup VR space designed to explore interesting topics for the Portland tech community.
Join us at Instrument’s new VR pop-up space, The Cookie Shop, to hear from two of the best storytellers in the VR industry: Paul Reynolds and Kent Bye. They will share best practices for creating presence in virtual space.
Kent Bye has interviewed over 400 virtual reality creators on the Voices of VR podcast. He’ll be here to talk about the ingredients it takes to create presence in a virtual space.
Paul Reynolds recently moved to Portland after a 3 year run at Magic Leap as Senior Director of developer tools and apps. He’ll be here to talk about how these new technologies tap into human perception in ways we have never seen before.
The event will be held this Wednesday, August 10, 2016. It is free. Doors open at 5:30PM.
