# Time to accelerate that accelerator application: Beaverton Startup Challenge applications due Friday

Sure, sure. You’ve been busy. Don’t worry. I get it. But I thought it would be wise to give you a heads up that there’s a looming opportunity for you and your startup. Mentorship, services, and a little capital could be one simple application away. Thanks to the [Beaverton Startup Challenge](http://otbc.org/beavertonchallenge/ "Beaverton Startup Challenge").

The catch? Well, if this is the first you’re hearing of it, you’re going to have to get your butt in gear. Because applications are due Friday.

> The City of Beaverton, the West Side Startup Fund and OTBC worked together to create the Beaverton $100K Startup Challenge. The Challenge is sponsored by the city and Westside Startup Fund 2, LLC, and each contributes $50,000 to help five startups kick-start their business with coaching and mentoring support from the OTBC.

In addition to mentorship, selected companies receive at least $20,000 in cash, discounted legal and accounting services, and HR and marketing assistance.

There is an application fee of $20 to apply.
