# Take a break from running your startup to run for a good cause

Being an entrepreneur means running all of the time. All over the place. But sometimes, even the most steadfast startup can use a break from running around willy nilly. By actually running. And the [Elemental Portland 4K 4Charity](http://4k4charity.com/run/pdx/ "Elemental Portland 4K 4Charity") could be exactly what you need.

> The 4K 4Charity Fun Run in PDX is a 4km (2.49-mile) run and walk event that celebrates the achievements of the growing technology community in Portland while promoting diversity, wellness and charitable giving in a fun, casual environment.

> All proceeds from run registrations will be donated directly to Rosemary Anderson High School (RAHS), an Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. (OIC) community-based alternative high school.

The event takes place the afternoon of Wednesday, October 12, 2016. The starting line is Naito Legacy Fountain.
