# [UPDATED] Looking to connect in person IRL again? Coffee w/ Co-Founders could be it

It’s been a series of fits and starts with getting back together in person. But it’s starting to happen. So if you’re a founder who has been looking to get the chance to connect with others beyond the typical virtual call, [Coffee w/ Co-Founders is here to help](https://www.meetup.com/Portland-Coffee-w-Co-Founders/events/286552042/).

> After a successful re-launch at Deadstock in May & Good Coffee in June we’re headed to the Soul District of Portland on Alberta North Williams street for our July event.
>
> We’ll be at \[Happy Cup\] Holy Beanz Coffee, the only Black female owned sit down coffee shop in Portland, hosted by owner Shalimar Williams who knows firsthand how life can be difficult outside of prison.
>
> Happy Cup hires Individuals with disabilities that want to thrive and be productive members of society. As a social enterprise, Happy Cup provides a pathway for individuals who have aged out of special education programming. Through sustainable employment opportunities, Happy Cup offers real life skill building with a level of cultural relevance that is sorely lacking in most employment programs for special needs adults. Their “People with Potential” have a hand in every aspect of their business. Bagging, labeling, weighing coffee, and developing the creative blend names are all part of a Happy Cupper’s daily duties. Their goal is to pair great coffee with a great cause.

The event takes place Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 9:00AM at 2622 NE Alberta Street 3494 N Williams. It is free to attend.
