# RAIN Catalysts names Rachel Jagoda Brunette CEO

Seems like it’s [new CEO season](https://siliconflorist.com/2024/03/04/agility-robotics-names-former-magic-leap-leader-peggy-johnson-as-new-ceo/). Remember a few months back when I mentioned that [Caroline Cummings was stepping down](https://siliconflorist.com/2023/11/07/caroline-cummings-to-transfer-leadership-of-rain-in-march-2024/) from her role at [RAIN Catalysts](https://www.raincatalysts.org/) and that they would be searching for a new person to lead the org? Well, that search has ended successfully. [Rachel Jagoda Brunette is the new CEO of RAIN Catalysts](https://www.raincatalysts.org/news/announcing-our-new-ceo).

> In her new role, Rachel will spearhead RAIN Catalysts’ mission to cultivate inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, ensuring that innovation thrives within a multitude of diverse communities. Her appointment comes as Caroline Cummings steps down as CEO, transitioning to a role where she will continue to contribute her expertise by leading special projects within the organization. Caroline’s departure from this role marks the conclusion of an eight-year tenure during which she played a pivotal role in expanding RAIN Catalysts’ mission regionally, nationally, and globally–with a dedicated focus on supporting underserved entrepreneurs.
