# Enduring Planet garners GeekWire coverage

Again, I’m not even sure what a constitutes a “Portland company” in our new world, but if the CEO lives in Portland, then I’m going to consider it a Portland company. Like [Enduring Planet](https://enduringplanet.com/) — a fund that provides loans to entrepreneurs focused climate initiatives — which just got [covered by GeekWire](https://www.geekwire.com/2024/meet-the-climate-startup-helping-other-climate-startups-fund-their-ventures-with-lower-cost-loans/).

> Enduring Planet launched in 2021 offering loans against government grants, and more recently expanded its offerings to provide loans to companies with government contracts. It also added chief financial officer services on a part-time or fractional basis.
