# In search of funding…? Find Funding to Do Cool Stuff might be an option

If you’re the founder of a business which was disproportionately affected by cannabis prohibition, you may be eligible to join a cohort of 10 companies receiving guidance and mentorship on pursuing non-dilutive funding options. > This model will demonstrate how to deepen professional business relationships allowing those who participate a pathway to government grants and other funding opportunities, giving them the tools, resources, and connections to THRIVE.
> 
> Cody Pika Tavita McGraw and Quincy Brown will guide 10 small businesses who are in the food and drink, arts and culture, design and construction industries through 4 hands-on workshops.
> 
> Our goal is to demystify government contracting and other funding opportunities. We’ll show you where to find funding sources, who to connect with, and how to fill out applications.
> 
> By the end of this series, each participant will have submitted at least 1 RFP application, and have built a funding roadmap for your business or nonprofit.

The program consists of four 90 minute workshops, all of which are virtual. Participants will receive $1000 to help cover the costs of their time.
