# Portland startup PayRange lands “significant nine-figure investment”

I don’t know that I can even count up to nine. But I do know that that means at least eight zeros. So even if it’s at the low end, [Portland startup PayRange has landed at least $100,000,000 in Private Equity financing from Ridgeview Partners](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20240925806720/en/Ridgeview-Partners-Makes-Strategic-Growth-Investment-in-PayRange-a-Leading-IOT-Software-Platform-for-Unattended-Retail).

Paresh Patel, the founder of PayRange, [shared the news on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/pareshkpatel_unattendedretail-mobilepayments-activity-7246545102213447680-zNN-?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop).

The company [was founded in 2013](https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/blog/2014/03/forced-out-from-vendscreen-ex-ceo-unveils-his.html) and has raised a total of $31.5 million from investors. Its first round of investors included actor and musician Jared Leto, former Google Payments head Osama Bedier and “Shark Tank” investor Barbara Corcoran. Earlier this year, Patel noted the company has been profitable since 2020.
