# Who won at Bend Venture Conference 2024…?

I got so excited about my time down at [Bend Venture Conference](https://bendvc.com) this year, that [I had to quickly tell you about BVC](https://youtube.com/shorts/zRTywB8Y0co) while I was still there. And then [I actually shared more about prevailing themes](https://youtu.be/R5i38pnBY2A) once I got back. But I never posted about the winners. (You’d think after 17+ years of doing this, I’d be better at it. But no.) So [who actually won at Bend Venture Conference 2024](https://www.bendvc.com/news/announcing-the-winners-of-the-21st-annual-bend-venture-conference-bvc)…?

- The “early stage” winners were [Prophetic](https://www.propheticsoftware.ai/) and [Rose City Robotics](https://rosecityrobotics.com/) (crowd favorite), both from Portland — and both, coincidentally, [UpStart Collective](https://upstartcollective.org) residents
- The “new economy” winners were [Home Lending Pal](https://www.homelendingpal.com/) and [Hardcore Peanut Butter Co.](https://hardcorepb.com/), of Orlando and Minneapolis, respectively
- The “growth stage” winners were [ProMedix](https://promedixinc.com/) and [Health Elements AI](https://healthelements.ai/), of Portland and Bend, respectively

According to the [Portland Business Journa](https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/inno/stories/news/2024/10/22/bend-venture-conference-2024-winners.html)l:

> A total of $500,000 was awarded across four companies at the Bend Venture Conference this year in the Growth Stage and New Economy Track competitions. Two early-stage companies were highlighted, but no investment was handed out.
