# Women startup founders: Where are they now…?

Given the reception to the [“Where are they now…?” event featuring Black founders](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOS9vfvPblc), the Built Oregon, PIE, Pitch Black, Pitch Latino, and Vanport Studio crew are working to [bring women founders from their programs to the stage](https://www.meetup.com/pie-portland-startup-community/events/306123862/) to share not only **where** they are now, but also **who** they are now. The free event will take place March 11, 2025. Space is limited.

> As a woman it can often feels like you’re never in a single place — or a single role. This came into sharp relief during a recent event as [Paige Hendrix Buckner](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOS9vfvPblc&t=3355s) reflected on her past as a grade school teacher sharing that no matter where she is, Paige — the teacher — is always there.

> We’re looking forward to sharing similar perspectives from women founders in our midst — discussing not only **where** they are now but **who** they are now.

The last event “sold out” — I mean, it’s free — and this one is showing signs of something similar, so please RSVP at your earliest convenience. (There may be a livestream again. But that hasn’t been confirmed.)
