# Proven in Pendleton: Oregon UAS Accelerator launches $100k challenge

I always love when accelerator programs think beyond their immediate cohort opportunity to more thoroughly engage their startup communities. So imagine how happy I was when I got word of the Oregon UAS Accelerator’s latest effort. It’s called the “[Proven in Pendleton Challenge](https://oregonuas.org/pages/proven-in-pendleton-cuas-challenge).” And it’s designed to inspire and identify compelling counter-drone concepts — with the winner landing a $100,000 cash prize.

> **Calling all Counter-UAS innovators!** The Oregon UAS Accelerator is proud to announce the ***Proven in Pendleton cUAS Challenge***, a groundbreaking competition designed to accelerate innovation in unmanned aircraft systems defense.
>
> This high-stakes event will culminate at the [**AUVSI Cascade Chapter’s Spring Symposium**](https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/ja4f39k/lp/312805a7-bfe5-4b0b-bc3d-b34d551b5d1a) **on April 24-25, 2025**, offering participants unparalleled exposure to key stakeholders in military, law enforcement, and commercial sectors.
