# While the Portland startup community gathering is sold out, the NedSpace pre-party and after party are not

I love it when people take the opportunity to build upon an idea. So of course, I was overjoyed to hear that [NedSpace](https://ned.space/) was taking on the effort of arranging a [pre-party](https://www.meetup.com/portland-new-in-town-entrepreneurs-group/events/307095994/) and an after party for our next Portland startup community gathering — especially given that the main event is sold out.
