# New AI meetup: GenAI Collective

First, there was [AI Portland](https://www.aipdx.info/). Then [AI Tinkerers Portland](https://portland.aitinkerers.org/). Recently, we got [Portland AI Engineers](https://siliconflorist.com/2025/04/10/portland-ai-engineers-plans-first-meetup/). And now, we’ve got the [GenAI Collective](https://lu.ma/p4klxegw), a new gathering from our favorite AI industry analyst, [AJ Green](https://www.linkedin.com/in/aj-green-ai/). The inaugural meetup takes place with a launch party on May 15, 2025.
