# TiE Oregon opens Columbia River Pitch applications

Used to be, TiE Oregon did one big event called [Pitch Oregon](https://siliconflorist.com/?s=pitch+oregon). Then, they iterated on the idea to create three separate events, instead: Westside Pitch, Columbia River Pitch, and Clackamas Pitch. Why am I telling you this…? Well, [Westside Pitch is imminent](https://siliconflorist.com/2025/04/22/tie-oregon-announces-westside-pitch-2025-finalists/). And [Columbia River Pitch applications just opened](https://www.tieoregon.org/pitch-oregon/columbia-river-pitch).

What kinds of startups should apply…?

> Eligible competitors include all entrepreneurs that either operate their business or live in Clark County, Washington or Multnomah County, Oregon. Selected businesses will have developed a unique product or service solution that solves a big problem in a national or international market.
