# Bucks for biotech: Araceli Biosciences raises $11.2M

[Thanks to our friends at GeekWire](https://www.geekwire.com/2025/araceli-biosciences-raises-11-2m-for-imaging-and-ai-analysis-systems-to-help-speed-drug-discovery/) for catching that Portland biotech startup [Araceli Biosciences](https://www.aracelibio.com/) has landed $11.2 million to fund their ongoing development of their AI enhanced imagining technology designed to speed drug discovery.





“The future of AI-driven drug discovery and personalized medicine depends on imaging and analysis that happens in real time,” Matt Beaudet, CEO of Araceli Biosciences, said in a news release. “Minutes and seconds matter. The old model of waiting hours — or even days — for data is over. At Araceli, we’re building a platform that moves at the speed of science.”
