# A new coworking and makerspace may help you find Kinship

Although the [Portland Business Journal recently shared that coworking seems to be falling out of fashion in Portland](https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/news/2025/08/25/portland-coworking-market-second-quarter.html), there are still some interesting and creative pursuits that continue to further the model around here. The longest running coworking space in town — [NedSpace](https://ned.space) — just [expanded its footprint](https://siliconflorist.com/2025/07/22/portlands-oldest-continuously-operating-coworking-space-now-has-a-view-of-portlands-living-room/). And now [Kinship](https://kinshippdx.com/), a “fashion coworking studio” just opened its doors.

Located in the Central Eastside Industrial District on SE 2nd, the facility offers a range of options from studio space to office space. And if you’re not in the position to plop down a month’s rent, day passes are available as well.

> Whether you’re drafting patterns or brand campaigns, there’s a place here for you. Our flexible memberships are built to meet you where you are—whether that means a machine and a cutting table, a seat and a desk, or a bit of both.
