# Howl at the Spoon lands on the TiE Women Global stage

You may remember that I encouraged you to submit your application to participate in the TiE Women pitch competition a few months back. And why did I say you should do that…? That’s right. Because you could have the chance to be on a global stage. And apparently, some folks listened. Because [Howl at the Spoon](https://howlatthespoon.com/) now has the opportunity to be on [a global stage in India for the TiE Women finals](https://mailchi.mp/2918d7201e54/tie-oregon-angels-investor-meeting-reminder-4884435).

> The program consists of a series of local and global events and culminates with one women-led business from Oregon competing in a Global Pitch Competition for an award up to $50k equity-free prize money to winners and runners-up.
>
> The local program is part of the larger [Global TiE Women’s Program](https://tiewomen.org/). The global pitch competition will be held in January 2026 at the TiE Global Summit in Jaipur, India.

Howl at the Spoon walked away with the top prize. [Yak](https://yaktech.io/) took the runner up position. And [Yuzi Care](https://www.yuzicare.com/) was also recognized.

I’ll keep an eye on the global competition to let you know how Howl fares.
