# Portland startup Fiveonefour funding totals $17M, actually

A ways back, [I caught wind of a funding announcement](https://siliconflorist.com/2025/07/15/former-nike-folks-formed-fiveonefour-fomenting-10-8m-in-fresh-financing/) from a new Portland startup called [Fiveonefour](https://www.fiveonefour.com/), composed of former Nike folks. Well luckily, we have real journalists in our midst who can tell a more complete story. Malia Spencer over at the Portland Business Journal shares that [the total amount raised has actually been $17 million](https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/inno/stories/fundings/2025/09/04/nike-alums-startup-raises-17m.html).

> The $17 million in funding is the total amount raised over two early rounds since the company started in 2023. The latest infusion was led by Dimension Capital. Also participating in the round is Stage 2 Capital, Flybridge Capital Partners, Ridge Ventures, Tokyo Black Venture Capital and Vermillion Cliffs.
