# Pitch Latino Portland will be here before you know it

Here I am going, “Oh October… that’s a long ways off.” There’s only on problem with that line of reasoning: it’s actually October next week. I KNOW. I’ve no idea how that happened. But that’s where we are. And with October in the near future, that means that [Pitch Latino Portland 2025](https://www.latinofounder.com/pitchlatinoportland) is almost here, too.

Inspired by the [Pitch Black](https://pitchblack.org) event series, Pitch Latino has a similar ethos and vibe. A bunch of interesting Latine-led companies take the stage to share what they’re building. Everyone who participates gets some cash. But the crowd decides on who gets a little more cash than the others.

The event takes place Thursday, October 9, 2025, at OMSI. Tickets are $35 with all proceeds going to the participating startups.
