# The Oregonian: Oregon VC raised looks less anemic because of Agility Robotics

I keep saying it. [Agility Robotics](https://www.agilityrobotics.com/) deserves more attention. Here’s another perspective on why: If Oregon’s 2025 VC numbers look better to you, [it’s largely because of Agility, according to Mike Rogoway at The Oregonian](https://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/2026/01/oregon-venture-capital-bounced-back-in-2026-buoyed-by-one-company.html).

> Oregon startups raised nearly $950 million in 2025, with venture capital activity rebounding after two dreary years.
>
> A big chunk of the money purportedly went to [Agility Robotics](https://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/2025/08/oregon-factory-builds-the-walking-robots-of-tomorrow-these-are-going-to-be-a-part-of-everyday-life.html), a pioneer in manufacturing and deploying humanoid robots. Agility has been widely reported to have raised $400 million last year, though the Salem-based company declined comment because it says its current funding round is still open.
