# Starting to hire again…? Let’s get those job openings in front of people looking for jobs

Hiring…? You can always prove how witty, intelligent, insightful, and community oriented your company is by posting those job openings to the [Silicon Florist job board](https://jobs.siliconflorist.com). It’s been quietly doing its thing for years now. So if you’re hiring, or hoping to get hired, it’s honestly worth a few minutes of your time to check out.

Or don’t.

I mean, if you don’t need super talented people who are smart enough to read this publication. Or if you don’t want really, really awesome candidates where you’d be like, “We could choose any of these people and we would be exponentially better overnight.” That’s your choice. Because that could happen.

It’s only been confirmed by scientists that Silicon Florist readers are among the upper echelon of the most skilled, talented, and creative people on earth.

I’m serious. Look it up.

And then post your job. Because the awesome people are waiting. For you. Maybe.

Just trust that it’s one of the premier resources for finding technology and startup talent in Portland and throughout Oregon. Employers post their openings. Job seekers browse. And if you’re on the hunt, you can set up job alerts by category — Developer, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, UI/UX, Management, and a bunch more — so the right gigs find their way to you.

On the [posting side](https://jobs.siliconflorist.com/products), there are two ways to go. If you just want to test drive the thing, there’s a short-term 10-day post for $5. Five bucks. A fraction of the cost of the standard post. Or you can grab a single 45-day job post for $20.

That’s it. That’s the post.
