# If you’ve ever been interested in impacting how capital flows in Oregon, you may want to apply to the Oregon Growth Board

Sure. It’s easy to complain about capital. Or lack thereof. I do it all of the time. In fact, I’m actively working on a post or three about that very topic. And yet, it’s a lot better — a lot a lot — to actually [quit being part of the problem and put the other guy back on](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS4Go0aB1ow)… Oh wait. I mean stop being part of the problem and start taking part in creating the solution. And here’s an opportunity to do just that. The [Oregon Growth Board is actively seeking new board members](https://www.oregon.gov/biz/aboutus/boards/ogb/pages/default.aspx).

What’s the Oregon Growth Board, you ask…?

And apparently, they’ve got a spot open for you since two members are timing out in December and another is timing out in April 2027.
