It’s no secret that one of the many reasons I started Silicon Florist was to get more people interested in what you’re doing.
Yes you, you silly goose.
You’re inventing incredibly cool stuff. You’re bending Web and mobile technology to your will. You’re taking risks. And you’re trying to build companies that will help Oregon and the Silicon Forest thrive.
Now, The Oregonian wants to hear from you.
As a follow up to the Portland startup scene article that he published this weekend, Mike Rogoway will be holding a chat session to continue the conversation about Portland area startups and entrepreneurship in Oregon.
The session starts at noon today (May 5). So take a lunch break, for once, and please join us.
I’d really like to see you there. Because your insight is vital. Maybe you love the startup scene. Maybe you think the startups around here are one of the things that makes Portland suck. Maybe you think that most people just don’t get it. Maybe you’re building a new kind of conference. Maybe you think we should be paying less attention to Portland and more attention to startups in other Silicon Forest cities and towns. Maybe you’ve just got a hankering for the Strange Love Live chat room, midweek.
Maybe, just maybe, I should cease and desist with the “Maybe…” statements.
But hopefully, you get my point.
Whatever the case, it would be great to have you in the chat at noon. And the better cross-section of opinions we have, well, the better.
I’m looking forward to seeing your username in the chat room at noon.
