Someone forgot to tell Portland-based Jive Software that we’re in the midst of an economic downturn. Those folks are just blowing the curve for everybody. Or maybe it’s their customers. Whatever. Jive is cleaning up as of late.
After a tattoo-inducing quarter and recognizing 100% revenue growth year-over-year, those crazy kids at Jive keep bucking the trend by making Q2 2009 another record setting quarter.
The past few months have flown by, due in no small part to how heads down we’ve been. In addition to pulling off another record sales quarter, the product team has been busy working on an amazing release and we’ve all been working hard on some huge strategic projects around SBS. So as the summer heat is in full swing and we have a minute to smell the roses, I wanted to share and reflect on some of the great things that have happened over the course of the last three months here at Jive.
So what all did Jive accomplish during Q2? Quite a bit. In addition to continuing with the revenue running up-and-to-the-right, Jive signed a partnership with SAP, hired a new Chief Marketing Officer, launched a Social Business Software offering up into the Cloud to make it more accessible, opened an office that’s somewhere outside the Silicon Forest, and announced their first-ever Jive user group, JiveWorld.
And even through all the gloom and doom news of the economy and the startup environment, Jive shows no signs of slowing.
Sound like somewhere you’d like to be? Well, Jive is hiring.
