Portlanders tend to have a little trouble tooting their own horns. Or hyping what’s happening. Which is fine. It gives me something to do in my spare time. But it’s also nice to see other people doing it for us. Especially when it’s an entity like Businessweek.
Silicon Valley’s hypergrowth is no secret, but how about Oregon’s Silicon Forest? Business is humming in these metropolitan areas with more than 1 million residents.
Apparently, our GDP growth rate is outpacing our population growth. And that’s always a good thing.
