What if you took a Startup Weekend esque format and applied it to climate tech innovation…? That’s the idea behind VertueLab’s 45Camp Jumpstart Weekend, which was held — as the name would imply — last weekend.
Jumpstart Weekend in Portland this last weekend was an incredible first event for 45Camp, a new program created in collaboration with Tabor 100 and with the support of Prosper Portland and PGE Foundation. Designed as a three day crash course for aspiring entrepreneurs from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, the weekend was one of learning, mentorship, and connection within the community.
When the final pitches were complete, Carbon Negative Solutions walked away with the win, Digital Grid took second, and Range Station placed third.
