Two Portland companies garner “runner up” status in TiE Women 2024 regional competition

TiE Women is a global competition designed to highlight promising women-led startups. Often, the initial parts of the competition occur at a city level, but this time around, it started at a regional level. And two Portland companies wound up runners up: Radious and For Bitter For Worse.

TiE Women is dedicated to Embrace, Engage and Empower women entrepreneurs across the globe. The program is focused on women entrepreneurs, irrespective of the size of their enterprises, origins, standing or background.

The program consists of a series of local and global events and culminates with one women-led business from Oregon competing in a Global Pitch Competition for an award up to $50k equity-free prize money to winners and runners-up.

The local program is part of the larger Global TiE Women’s Program. The global pitch competition will be held December 10-11th at the TiE Global Summit in Bangalore, India.
