Okay. OKAY. Ever since I started doing the weekly Portland startup community recaps as a podcast, people have been asking me to get back into interviewing folks. Fine. Twist my arm. (Actually, I really enjoy interviewing folks. It’s just a scheduling challenge.)
Introducing The Long Con, long conversations with folks I’ve met over the 30 years I’ve been working in startups, some local — and some from other places.
But here’s the twist: No calls. No virtual meetings. These long conversations will only take place in person, face to face. Because there’s something special about what happens when people are having a conversation IRL. And I hope to capture that.
And that’s the other thing. This isn’t a series of interviews. It’s a series of conversations.
I have a long list of people I’m going to invite. I’ve got a couple of conversations scheduled. I’ll start releasing these sporadically.
