Into livestreaming and reacting to content created by other folks…? React.tv may be for you

There’s livestreaming stuff you do. And then there’s livestreaming stuff other people do. And it’s the latter that React.tv was designed to address. So if you’re into “watch party” sort of livestreams, this could be the platform for you. Whether it’s creating or consuming that content.

From Quinn Elwood on the Portland Startups Slack:

The problem I am trying to solve is letting live streamers ethically “react” to content on the web by funneling their audiences views back to the original media they are watching.

I am doing this by creating a system that lets you generate a weeks worth of scheduled YouTube and Twitch content in a 24/7 TV Channel format. This allows creators to toggle on a watch party mode that lets viewers see their stream synced side by side with the content they are reacting to.

The site has been in beta for a couple months now. Hoping to make a full release sometime before August.

To test drive the beta, visit React.tv.
