While the term “unicorn” might seem a little overused in the startup world — given the number of billion dollar companies continuing to ascend the ranks — the term is a good description for founders who have been through the venerable Y Combinator accelerator program more than once. Two times in interesting. Three times is a metric that only belongs to a handful of folks. And one of them is Portland’s Darius Monsef.
So when I say that Darius knows a thing or two about YC, I really really mean it. And now, he’s looking to share that knowledge and insight with people who are applying to the program for the first time — or for those who have gotten close but never quite made it in.
It’s a Pre-Accelerator for YC.
The program is available for a limited number of applicants. It costs $250 + 0.5% advisory grant. After the initial cohort, rolling admissions will follow.
