Still working on consuming my first pot of coffee, but this one woke me up. Portland Startup Week has been officially retired. In its place…? A brand new shiny Oregon Startup Week.
Oregon Startup Week is the one week a year the whole state shows up for its founders.
40+ events. One home base at Big Pink. A week to learn from people who’ve actually built something, pitch your idea to people who write checks, and meet the founders and funders who’ll be in your corner for the next decade.
Let’s celebrate the state together.
The event is slated to take place May 10–15, 2027. Save the dates. The schedule — obviously — is still being built out. Event submissions will open in November 2026.
As the original organizer of Portland Startup Week, I must admit that I’m eager to see where this new format goes. And excited to see an evolution and iteration of the format that started more than a decade ago. And managed to survive the pandemic to rebound.
