If you’ve ever been interested in impacting how capital flows in Oregon, you may want to apply to the Oregon Growth Board

Sure. It’s easy to complain about capital. Or lack thereof. I do it all of the time. In fact, I’m actively working on a post or three about that very topic. And yet, it’s a lot better — a lot a lot — to actually quit being part of the problem and put the other guy back on… Oh wait. I mean stop being part of the problem and start taking part in creating the solution. And here’s an opportunity to do just that. The Oregon Growth Board is actively seeking new board members.

What’s the Oregon Growth Board, you ask…?

The Oregon Growth Board (“OGB”) is an innovative initiative that invests state lottery profits to drive economic growth, support underrepresented communities, and enhance educational programs across Oregon. This comprehensive program, designed to attract investors and empower entrepreneurs, attempts to achieve multiple goals through its private market portfolios, the Oregon Growth Account and Oregon Growth Fund

And apparently, they’ve got a spot open for you since two members are timing out in December and another is timing out in April 2027.

Sound interesting…? Here are more details.
