Interested in speaking at WordCamp US 2024…?

Too bad. You missed the deadline. Oh wait. It’s been extended, you lucky procrastinator you. So if you want to propose a talk with the hopes of taking the stage at the largest event focused on WordPress in the United States, you’ve still got time. And if you live in Portland, you don’t even have to travel very far to participate. Because it’s being held here. So why not apply…?

Every proposal enriches our understanding of the community’s interests and achievements. While we can’t accept every talk, your submission plays a crucial role in shaping our event. The WCUS organizing team is made up of volunteers from across North America who want to discover your interests and experiences.

Traditional talk formats not your cup of tea? What about a campfire chat…?

Campfire Chats are all about small, informal discussions. Think networking, problem-solving, and exploring new ideas—all in a relaxed setting. You’re not just a listener; you’re an active participant, sharing insights and sparking conversations.

What makes Campfire Chats special? It’s the laid-back vibe. Speakers aren’t delivering rehearsed presentations; they’re guiding us through a dialogue, sharing experiences, and encouraging everyone to join in. It’s authentic, it’s refreshing, and it’s exactly what we need.

Whatever the case… get on it. Talk submissions are due May 6, 2024. Campfire chat concepts are due May 13, 2024.
