Reminder: Elemental Technologies Lunch 2.0 is Wednesday

In case you’ve forgotten, or haven’t heard yet, this Wednesday, Elemental Technologies is hosting Lunch 2.0.

If you’re not familiar with Elemental, love shooting video and putting it online, work with video a lot, or are just a curious person, this is the Lunch 2.0 for you.

From what Julie Williams, Communication Manager at Elemental, has told me, it sounds like an interesting time.

In addition to the normal networking and grubbing, Elemental’s employees will be talking about:

  • Building an enterprise product UI on Ruby.
  • Getting online video distributed in mass.
  • Tips for video creation in Adobe CS4.

If you’re wondering how to get there, Elemental is on SW Fifth Avenue downtown in the bus mall, next to MAX, and apparently, there’s plenty of bike parking on the street too.

Please RSVP on Upcoming so the hosts can get an idea of how much grub to get. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, drop a comment on the event page for planning, unless you don’t want to eat. I guess it’s not as critical this time, since Julie is a vegan, but still, it’s good to know.

Anyway, hope to see you Wednesday.

Don’t forget these Lunch 2.0s, coming soon:

  • None

Although I do have a tentative one for January and several maybes floating around, there aren’t any definite Lunch 2.0 dates out there right now. Blame the economy, or if you’re feeling charitable, help me find a host.

Drop a comment or hit me up on Twitter (@jkuramot). Also, check out the how-to primer.

Big thanks to all the hosts who have hosted or plan to host Lunch 2.0.
