Open Source Bridge 2012 opens Tuesday

We like to say that Portland is the de facto home of open source. And by “we” I mean “me.” Which makes that sentence grammatically incorrect, doesn’t it? But I digress.

Portland’s place in the world of open source is never more evident than the summer, when any number of open-source oriented events come to town. This week, it’s time once again for our homegrown open source event, Open Source Bridge, this Tuesday through Friday.

Looking to attend? Get registered:

If you know someone who would like to attend, but hasn’t registered, let them know there’s still time! Full, single day and community passes and party companion tickets are available on our registration page.

Want to lend a hand? Volunteers are needed. Even an hour of your time would help.

We have a number of unfilled volunteer shifts, so please consider contributing a few hours if you are able. Details and signup on our volunteer site.

Just want to socialize? Well, you’re in luck. There’s the official Open Source Bridge party on Thursday.

Thursday evening: the Official Party, sponsored by Simple and Gilt Groupe! Admission is included with your full conference pass. If you purchased a day pass, or want to bring a friend, we have a limited number of party tickets available for $10 each.
