Remember that PDC five year strategy? Chat with PDC about it in real life

While we live in a day and age where any amount of information and content sits at our fingertips, sometimes it’s just nice to talk to someone and get to ask questions face to face. That’s why Uncorked Studios has invited the PDC to an open house on the PDC five year strategy.

The Portland Development Commission (PDC) is in the process of updating its Strategic Plan to set the agency’s course of action over the next five years and we’d like your input. Come learn about how this plan addresses topics related to the tech, design, and startup community.

PDC’s Strategic 2015-2020 Plan will guide our priorities, work plan and investments for the next five years. Currently in a 50% draft form, the Plan has been developed under the guidance of Mayor Hales, the PDC Board, and a Steering Committee and is intended to spur collaboration and partnership across public, private, and community partners.

The goal of the Plan is to achieve widely shared prosperity among all residents of Portland using PDC’s tools for job creation, place-making, and economic opportunity. This Plan directs PDC’s efforts and investments toward five complementary objectives designed to achieve a dramatic increase in Portland households with an income sufficient to meet their basic needs.

The event will be held Tuesday, March 3, from 5:30 PM at Uncorked Studios. The event is free to attend.
