One good Week deserves another: If you like Portland Startup Week, you'll love Design Week Portland

Portland’s Weeks are starting to become almost as prevalent as Portland’s Camps used to be. And that’s a good thing. Let’s take a second to step away from the most immediate Week—Portland Startup Week—to talk about another awesome upcoming Week that will be valuable to startups, Design Week Portland.

DWP is generally the bigger, better version of Portland Startup Week. It’s simply got more to love. Even more interesting talks. Even more interesting folks with whom to connect. And even more excuses for you to explore the never-ending supply of creativity that is Portland. There are even a few startup scene types who are slated to make appearances, like Andy Baio, Crystal Beasley, and Amber Case, to name a few.

This year a Main Stage two-day conference will kick off the weeklong city-wide festival of independently-organized events spanning hundreds of venues.

For those of you interested in joining the conference there is an extra incentive to purchase your tickets by January 31st. The cost for the two-day conference is $100 off the full-price registration ($395) and you’ll get private tours of Portland’s most interesting design spaces, as well as hand illustrated custom goods as part of the early registration promotion.

The event will be held at Revolution Hall. In case you just glossed over the block quote above, tickets are $395—unless you act quickly.
