I didn’t know what to expect the first class of the Oregon Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Accelerator to look like, but I’m happy to report that it’s a drawn drone startups from across the US — and Singapore. Seven companies joined the accelerator program which includes access to the Pendleton UAS facility, mentorship, and $40,000 in non-dilutive funding for each company.
Participating companies are:

- Cloud UAS Payloads (Cambridge, MA)
- Cyphra Autonomy (Fenton, MO)
- Phenix Solutions Inc. (McMinnville, OR)
- Rangair LLC (Beaverton, OR)
- Zepher Flight Labs, Inc. (Bingen, WA)
- Zing Drone Solutions (Sarasota, FL)
“We’re thrilled to provide this exceptional group of startups with unparalleled resources to accelerate their solutions from concept to market readiness,” said Joseph Wyno, Executive Director of the Oregon UAS Accelerator. “Their pioneering technologies have the potential to transform a multitude of industries through UAS applications.”
Graduation from the accelerator is designed to coincide with the world famous Pendleton Round-up in Septemeber.
