Portland’s ecobadlandz and HumanKind Homes selected for Cascadia Cleantech Accelerator

ecobadlandz, the Portland startup that simplifies EV travel in the Pacific Northwest, has been selected to participate in the 2024 class of the Cascadia Cleantech Accelerator, along with nine other startups in this cohort. Portland’s HumanKind Homes was also selected.

What’s the Cascadia Cleantech Accelerator, you ask…? Well, first and foremost, it’s a partnership between the Cleantech Alliance and VertueLab. But more importantly…

Cleantech startups are different. Especially those in the hardware category. They are higher risk, often more capital intensive requiring manufacturing and scaling support, prototype development, product validation and development. The Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator is specifically designed for BOTH early stage, hardware and software cleantech startups located in or interested in doing business in the Northwest.

We are a mostly virtual 18-week program delivering mentorship, structured curriculum, and connections designed specifically for early stage hardware and software cleantech startups. Paricipants that successfully complete the program are eligible for additional resources and opportunities as they are available.
